We had a vegetarian pizza with meatballs and pepperoni, which was excellent. The waitress was great and very friendly. This was the first time we had patronized this restaurant and were saying that we would come back even though the price was high, $35 for one pizza. So why did we give it four stars and why won’t we return? We had asked for mushrooms to be substituted for the peppers on the pizza. The waitress said fine and gave us no indication that there would be any charge for the substitution. Then we got the bill and there was a $5 charge for the mushrooms. I asked them about it and the waitress said she made a mistake and charged for extra mushrooms. Then she said the actual charge should have been $2. I inquired why a substitution would incur a charge and did not get any good explanation. Then the person at the register said, “we will take it off this time but next time will be $2.” Maybe I am overly fussy but when I am paying $35 for a pizza I don’t expect a reasonable substitution of mushrooms for peppers to incur an additional charge. When I get an answer that says we will take it off this time but not next time, my instinctive response is that there will not be a next time. Then things got worse. The menu said that adding pepperoni and meatballs to a pizza would be $4 each. A bit pricey but we added them. I expected a lot of meatballs and pepperoni for that price. What we got was reasonable but not worth the extra money. We got the bill and the meatballs were $6. When I brought this to their attention by showing them the menu, the response was the straw that broke the camel’s back. She said, “That is the right price, the menu is wrong.” Really? Any place that I patronize would have been apologetic and made the adjustment immediately, even if the menu was in error. In fact, given the first problem, a really smart establishment would have not only been apologetic, they would have offered some compensation to make sure I return. Had they done that, I would probably have forgiven them and been a regular customer. Instead, I left incredibly annoyed with their self-centered attitude. As I said, I may be too picky but there are many good places to patronize that respect the customer and take responsibility for their mistakes and don’t have policies that simply don’t make sense. When I am paying $35 for a pizza, I don’t expect to leave annoyed. If this type of thing doesn’t bother you, by all means, patronize them because the pizza is great and the people are friendly. Just be prepared to pay a lot for a pizza and have some surprises thrown your way.

convenient, exceeded expectations, friendly, and best ingredients! This location is convenient for me to stop at on my way home or meet up with someone after work, but it exceeded my expectations in terms of the food, atmosphere, and overall experience. One of the most important assessments of an Italian restaurant is the red sauce. Well, I’ve tried Pizzeria Enzina’s eggplant rolls and also the lasagna, both of which involve truly amazing tomato sauce. My dad said that the kale salad (with granny smith apples, cranberries, taleggio, and apple cider dressing) was the best kale he had ever had. Others at my table also ordered the chicken milanese and tagliatelle bolognese, which were both also very good. Most significantly, the gnocchi that I ordered was absolute perfection. Its sauce cannot be adequately described as an amazing four-cheese bechamel unlike anything I’ve ever had before! There was plenty of friendly and helpful service, and we also talked to the manager, which was very nice. Almost all of the ingredients they use come straight from Italy and most importantly the pasta is homemade (with flour from Italy)! We look forward to returning soon, and also perhaps stopping by the bakery someday before 5pm! (visited 1/25/23, 5/2/23, & 10/27/23)

Felt very Italian to Me I loved this place. It felt Italian to me. It does serve Italian sodas. The music was Italian. We had great service, granted there were few diners mid-afternoon. We ordered two small pizzas. Basically margaritas but one had no basil garnish. We thoroughly enjoyed them. Hot, gooey, thinish crust. We plan to return again and get take-out. There is a bakery next door which requires a trip.

Great pizza, horrible service The Pizza was excellent, the salads were average. The wine selction is apporpiate. However, ther service was an absolute joke. This place could easily be fantasic if they has properly trained servers. If they can fix that there will be a line to get in, otherwise order takeout only.

A night to remember My sister was visiting from Florida and we chose to have dinner together with 2 other sisters and a sister-in-law. What a fabulous time. We selected a very special off menu red Barolo that was an incredible value. We shared a pizza, some fresh pasta and split an Italian tuna salad. It was a night to remember!

A step above most pizza joints Set on a quiet part of Main Street, Enzina sets itself apart with a nicer place to sit, a better wine list and some of the best pizza crust in the Boston area. My wife and I went for dinner. Easy parking in their lot. Nice interior, if a bit bare which could get noisy. Good service from our waiter and others. Good menu of pastas, pizzas and more. We went for an Arugula salad - excellent with a slightly sweet balsamic dressing and shaved cheese to cut the bitterness of the greens. Then a Sciccia pizza with sausage, caramelized onions and more. The thick, light, yeasty crust is simply one of the best anywhere. Not cheap: large pies run $20-25, but totally worth it!

nice, relaxed, casual with class, lunch or dinner Italian spot Exceptionally nice, relaxed, casual with class, lunch or dinner spot. (They we’re open for lunch despite Trip-A saying otherwise. Glad I called, & glad they answered the phone). Unique Italian menu assortment. Owners own Dominic sandwich restaurant down the street as well as an Italian bakery next door. Check their website out for menu items with accompanying photos of everything. I’d return!

Terrific!!! We were passing through the Boston area and staying overnight nearby. Ordered a pizza, salad and meatballs online to take back to our hotel. My order was ready pronto and I received a text as soon as it was ready. The pizza & meatballs were piping hot and the salad was fresh - such a treat after a day of driving! Everything tasted delish. The service was literally with a smile, and they gave me extra plates and utensils when I said I was at a hotel. We will surely be back when in the area! Wish we lived closer.

Pick another place I was really excited bc the pizza looked so good online but it wasn’t. Being from NY and NJ I am a pizza snoot. The sauce was a bit acidic and the mozzarella wasn’t great quality taste. The crust was good. The bad part was overpriced for a pie.

Excellent pizza; really tasty Tagliatelle Bolognese; good wines; good service. Definitely go here. It's convenient, has parking in its own lot, and there's great food. Dana our server was polite, attentive, and knowledgeable. The manager took the time to give me a sample taste of the Trebbiano white wine, which was very good and which I will definitely have again. Definitely go here. It's a cozy space, so I advise making a reservation. Enjoy !

OK as a sit down restaurant for a decent quality pizza, but certainly they're not cheap, and they don't offer by the slice or any quick lunch options that are reasonable. This is more of a nice restaurant than pizzeria.. disappointed I guess . However if this is what you're looking for I guess it could fit the bill

I really liked this food but there were some issues. We ordered the scampi pizza and it was absolutely delicious. Great flavor, good crust. I would definitely order again. We also ordered the calamari, which was tasty but the portion was really, really small. Not a great value for the price. We also ordered the Mezze Maniche and the Bolognese. The Mezze Maniche was delicious - pasta cooked perfectly and great sauce. The Bolognese was not great. Although the flavor was good, the pasta was so overcooked that it was a big ball of mush. It was almost inedible. We did get take out so this could be a factor and I will give them a 2nd chance but definitely disappointed with the Bolognese.

Pizzeria Enzina https://g.co/kgs/TrbCh3g. They not only did not provide decent service, they insulted me when I posted the review. I was told my order will be ready in 20 mins. It took more like 50 mins, and there was nothing done to speed things along even though I had asked after 15 mins or so of waiting. This also resulted in the calamari I ordered to get cold by the time I received the order.Needless to say, I won't be ordering again. I called in the order, and the person told me 20 mins. So your explanation doesn't work. I think it would be better if you had promised 40 mins. And now you are claiming you gave me a gift card and a free dessert? I never got any of that. You must be talking about someone else. So now you are insulting me on top of garbage service?? Service: 1/5 Pizzeria Enzina (Owner) 7 minutes ago Online ordering has a lead time when we add a delay. Sorry your order came in this window. There is no way to get your order out in 20 min at 7pm on a Friday. Sorry again that you got stopped out but respectfully, we would both be better with you going elsewhere . EDIT!!! I just found out you were not only taken care of , but given free dessert and a gift card. Do not come back people like you are garbage.

What a great feeling it is to not only find a wonderful restaurant but to leave a wonderful review. First time at Enzina and was thoroughly pleased It's a cute restaurant with a strong Italian vibe. Brick walls, dark table and minimalist decor. Quick hello from the server and menu drop off. Not a particularly large menu. A nice sampling of apps, pizza and pasta. There is also a nice selection of wine and all soft drinks are Italian. No coke or Pepsi. ( how refreshing). Since it was first visit, we went for Caesar salad (to split) and cheese pizza. They immediately brought bread from their bakery next door. Warm, crusty and chewy paired with a deep amber olive oil. So good. The Caesar was a large portion of crispy lettuce, thin pieces of cheese and a subtle dressing. Added a squirt of lemon and it was perfect. This was followed by a best evah pizza. Thin crisp bottom with a charred, full and yet chewy crust. Almost like 2 separate pizzas. Devoured the bottom and dipped crust in evoo. Perfection. Will return soon. Need to try the cod, gnocchi and different sauces. What a great place.

I'm not sure where to start, but I'll do my best. We just left Enzina and I can't stop talking about our experience. As seasoned "foodies" who dine out 6 nights/week, we have now been meat-free for over 5 years and were initially drawn in by the vegan options. You can usually find stereotypical options anywhere, but chicken and sausage alternatives are a bit harder to come by. We were excited to see where this led... Walking in, the space is small and cozy with a rustic brick backsplash setting the scene of an authentic Italian experience. Admittedly, it may be tough to get a bigger party accommodated, but I'm sure they have a way. Having a completely separate vegan menu is an amazingly thoughtful touch. We ordered marinara pizza, "chicken" parm, spaghetti, and "sausage" rigatoni. I need to be clear and mention that ALL our dishes were amazing. The pasta was cooked to al dente perfection and the meat-alternatives would fool the most seasoned carnivore. It was almost impossible to pick favorites (like your kids), but if I had to (and it varied per guest), I would say the pizza was absolutely incredible. The crust was perfectly crisp, charred, and chewy with a smooth well-balanced sauce, quality olive oil, and fresh basil. Add some crushed red pepper and it's one of the best pizzas in recent memory; truly destination-worthy. The "chicken" parm was a close second with (2) crispy fried plant-based cutlets oozing with cheese (we opted for standard mozzarella) which played well with the al dente rigatoni. If you weren't feeling red sauce, the spaghetti is non-traditional and dressed with garlic confit and calabrian chili flakes for an unctuous punch. San Bennedeto sparkling and a solid old world wine list kept us sipping throughout the meal. We also opted for affogatos (espresso poured over vanilla bean gelato) which was a great crescendo to the meal. Last, but certainly not least, was our stellar service. Our waitress was pleasant, courteous, and accurate. Additionally, John (not sure if he was a manager or owner or what not) was incredibly charming, insightful, and wonderful with kids. The cherry on top to a near-perfect experience. Enzina's will be a heavy player in our rotation moving forward (even though we're 30 min away) and I'm excited to delve further into the menu!

An "OK" pizza. A bit of a chewy, "cardboard" crust. Got it "to go", probably better if you dine in. Visiting for the weekend, it wasn't bad, would try somewhere different next time.

Tried this restaurant for the first time last night. What a great experience! First, since my daughters are vegetarian and vegan (but my wife and I are not), it's always a challenge to find a place that all of us can enjoy. Pizzeria Enzina not only offers multiple options, it actually has multiple menus. There is a complete menu for vegans, another one that's gluten-free, and a third menu that is traditional. The appetizers were delicious. We had a tomato salad and something called Panzerotti (kind of like a pizza within a fried dough) - both were delicious. They also have something which they call their "ghost menu" which features meals that they are testing out before putting them on the permanent menu, as well as seasonal specials. I had the lasagna which was absolutely delicious, and I couldn't even finish it so I have left over for lunch today! The rest of the group had various pasta dishes. Everyone loved their meal. Finally, they have a very good wine and drink selection and well rounded dessert menu (Although we did not have dessert because we were so full). The restaurant is on the smaller side, but it has a very nice ambiance. The restaurant manager is extremely friendly and attentive (in my opinion, restaurant manager should study this wanted to see how to treat customers) as is the wait staff. We will definitely be coming back here again.
