We had a vegetarian pizza with meatballs and pepperoni, which was excellent. The waitress was great and very friendly. This was the first time we had patronized this restaurant and were saying that we would come back even though the price was high, $35 for one pizza. So why did we give it four stars and why won’t we return?
We had asked for mushrooms to be substituted for the peppers on the pizza. The waitress said fine and gave us no indication that there would be any charge for the substitution. Then we got the bill and there was a $5 charge for the mushrooms. I asked them about it and the waitress said she made a mistake and charged for extra mushrooms. Then she said the actual charge should have been $2. I inquired why a substitution would incur a charge and did not get any good explanation. Then the person at the register said, “we will take it off this time but next time will be $2.” Maybe I am overly fussy but when I am paying $35 for a pizza I don’t expect a reasonable substitution of mushrooms for peppers to incur an additional charge. When I get an answer that says we will take it off this time but not next time, my instinctive response is that there will not be a next time.
Then things got worse. The menu said that adding pepperoni and meatballs to a pizza would be $4 each. A bit pricey but we added them. I expected a lot of meatballs and pepperoni for that price. What we got was reasonable but not worth the extra money. We got the bill and the meatballs were $6. When I brought this to their attention by showing them the menu, the response was the straw that broke the camel’s back. She said, “That is the right price, the menu is wrong.” Really? Any place that I patronize would have been apologetic and made the adjustment immediately, even if the menu was in error. In fact, given the first problem, a really smart establishment would have not only been apologetic, they would have offered some compensation to make sure I return. Had they done that, I would probably have forgiven them and been a regular customer. Instead, I left incredibly annoyed with their self-centered attitude.
As I said, I may be too picky but there are many good places to patronize that respect the customer and take responsibility for their mistakes and don’t have policies that simply don’t make sense. When I am paying $35 for a pizza, I don’t expect to leave annoyed. If this type of thing doesn’t bother you, by all means, patronize them because the pizza is great and the people are friendly. Just be prepared to pay a lot for a pizza and have some surprises thrown your way.

Terrific!!!
We were passing through the Boston area and staying overnight nearby. Ordered a pizza, salad and meatballs online to take back to our hotel. My order was ready pronto and I received a text as soon as it was ready. The pizza & meatballs were piping hot and the salad was fresh - such a treat after a day of driving! Everything tasted delish. The service was literally with a smile, and they gave me extra plates and utensils when I said I was at a hotel. We will surely be back when in the area! Wish we lived closer.

Pick another place
I was really excited bc the pizza looked so good online but it wasn’t. Being from NY and NJ I am a pizza snoot. The sauce was a bit acidic and the mozzarella wasn’t great quality taste. The crust was good. The bad part was overpriced for a pie.

Excellent pizza; really tasty Tagliatelle Bolognese; good wines; good service. Definitely go here.
It's convenient, has parking in its own lot, and there's great food. Dana our server was polite, attentive, and knowledgeable. The manager took the time to give me a sample taste of the Trebbiano white wine, which was very good and which I will definitely have again. Definitely go here. It's a cozy space, so I advise making a reservation. Enjoy !

One of a kind
We decided to give Enzina a try since we heard you could dine in and we are so happy we did! The pizza was asbolutely amazing. We ordered the Romana and the Margherita. Very authentic pizza. The sides were very good as well. We had the Arancini and the Calamari. We will be back very soon. Thank you to the team at Enzina for a wonderful dine in experience. We loved the food and the atmosphere.

First Take out from Enzina
I was very curious as I love the subs and paninis at the sister shop Dom's. The cheese pizza was very good despite the bubbled black edges from slight overcooking. I'd give it another chance based on the freshness of their dough and the delicious sauce cheese combination. It was a definite large size and kudos to their delivery service which got it across town hot.

I didn't order the same exact thing twice, but I was charged twice!. I will say this was an issue with the ordering service and not this place. Regardless, my experience was awful. Worst calamari I've ever had in my life!. The food quality and quantity absolutely does not earn the prices. I will pay good money for good food, but that most certainly didn't happen here.

A great find! I was on a business trip and the front desk recommended the restaurant. It proved to be a great suggestion! As a pizza snob, I appreciate when it's done the right way. The pizza was fantastic with buffalo mozzarella... The San Marzano tomatoes were sweet, so much so, they could have been dessert! The crust was perfect and the cheese was right on spot. The side order of broccoli rabe and spicy (not too) sausage were exceptional, as well. Terrific flavor! It's so great to be away from home and still have a meal so authentically Italian! Thanks Dante!

I had such high hopes for this pizzeria since they are owned by one of my favorite Waltham sandwich shops. I am still in shock over what they charge for the quantity and quality they deliver. The calamari was the worst I've ever had in my life!. There was not one tentacle to be found (as they show in pics) and it was wet and soggy. Not to mention their extremely small portions. What do I even say about their eggplant!. There was only one layer of eggplant for their dinner and it barley covered the bottom of the container and came with absolutely nothing!. As I was eating it all of the skin fell off. Well I doubt they will let me post what happened next, but I do advice (as a medical professional) not to give this dish to children or take off the skin first. I will post a real deal pic!. A previous experience: I was at a party in which they had pizza delivered from here. I've never seen an entire group of people spit out their pizza at the same time or at all!. That pizza with several cheeses that uses moldy cheese...don't do it!. Maybe this is a delicatessen to some people, but for me biting into the taste of mold...I'm all set. First time in my entire life I spit out pizza. How is that even possible!!!???.Myself or friends will NEVER return!. Save your money!. Make some English muffin pizza's at home, bc you will be much better off!.

my family and I stopped here on our way home from the hospital. we had planned on going to another restaurant and when that didn't work out we tried our second choice that didn't work out either so our last ditch effort was to go here and honestly I wasn't expecting it to be good and it wasn't. it was phenomenal I had vegan chicken parmigiana and it was the best thing I have put in my mouth I. A very long time. My child who hasn't finished a meal in 3 months ate all of his food in ten minute. the server we had was phenomenal great personality and very gracious. Please keep in mind that from the outside this pizzeria looks as though it wouldn't be good or that the rest a would be in shambles, the outside is very very deceiving because once you walk in it's clean and newly renovated I'd definitely recommend Enzina pizzeria to everyone, if you try it you would love it tooo.

I travel to waltham pretty often so was excited to see this new pizza spot opening up. Didn't know that it was owned by same person as Domenics up the street. A pretty heavily trafficked area so I as a little wary of outside tables. Although it looked very inviting. Finally stopped in on my way home in a wednesday about 3:00. Walked in to look at menu and was greeted by a nice young man who was my server. The place was empty except for 2 ladies leaving and the owner was sitting there chatting with them but didnt say hello or acknowledge me. Ok, busy talking. I looked at menu and ordered a grilled cheese panini with fries ($16!) and told them id like to sit outside. Drink delivered and about 10 minutes later, sandwich. Its pretty noisy by the road and in addition, the chef was out there talking loudly on his phone or computer the entire time I was there. The owner came out to join him. The sandwich was ok but it said dried chopped tomatoes (I found 3 pieces in each half) and tomato jam (very sparse) and it was pretty oily from the cheese and probably butter. Fries were pretty good. All in all a little disappointed. Seems like a high priced grill cheese. No garnish. Extra jam in the side might be nice. I hope the pizza is better. Not sure ill stop in again. Owner looked at me as I left but didnt smile, or say good bye or thanks for coming. Something you might expect from a new owner trying to keep new clientele. Some of the reviews on here were good. Some not so much.

This is a fantastic pizzeria. Casual but with some more upscale options than the average "pizza place." There's a nice dining area both indoor and outdoor, beer and wine, with table service. My first time there yesterday, I had the scampi pizza and I also had the sausage and broccoli rabe appetizer. The sausage was so good I'm already craving it again today. The service was fantastic, very friendly and attentive. I will definitely go back to try more menu items. Same owner as Domenics, which is also one of my favorite sandwich places in town.
